- Commune labeled "Commune of the rural heritage of Brittany", Locmalo is situated between the Scorff and the Saar, a tributary of the Blavet. The commune owes its name to the juxtaposition of "loc" meaning consecrated place and "malo", name of the patron of the parish. Thanks to the Roman road which runs through the northern part of the territory, it is known that the human occupation there is very ancient. At the start of the Saint-Malo church, several hiking trails allow you to cross the green countryside. Do not miss the Vallon with the three Saints with its chapels Saint-Eugène and Saint-Diboen. In the village of Longueville, do not miss the chapel Saint-Symphorien and the fountain especially crafted. A few steps away botanical lovers will appreciate an oak pluri-centenary classified among the remarkable trees of the department.
