The roof is supported by a frame with sculpted sand pits. The craftsman who created it lived in the early 16th century. He not only demonstrated real technical know-how and great originality in the choice of themes, but he was also the creator of an original model: the centaurs faced. This half-man, half-horse hybrid is the trademark of the craftsman. We find in Kerlénat all the great figures of the medieval fantasy bestiary: dragons, mermaids and unicorns. A gallery teeming with fabulous creatures presents itself to the eye when one enters the sanctuary.
