  • The castle of Coscro is the work of a family of parliamentarians of the 17th century, the Lantivy. It is a classic-style residence with a raised central pavilion built in front. It houses a remarkable stone staircase. The well-planned façade and the triangular-shaped dormer windows of this construction in large regular apparatus give it a proud appearance. The stables framing the main courtyard and the two identical pavilions connected by a large masonry moat add to the elegance of the place. The ensemble responds to the concern of putting into symmetry and perspectives from a central axis and access aisles that depicted the bocage and landscape environment. The current owner restores, with passion, for more than 25 years this manor erected in a park of 20 hectares. The gardener of the domain organizes occasional animations on themes of gardening (size and grafting of fruit trees, protection of the orchard, animations around the vegetable garden conducted according to biological methods ...) and the discovery of nature (recognition of plants present on The site and their various uses, discovery of birds, insects ...).
