It tells the story of the men who desired it, created, implemented and used it, the history of the technical and technological prowess, the trades of railwaymen, the multitude of stations in Brittany, the urbanization of the territory ... Brittany Express is a traveling exhibition conceived in 2018 by the Musée de Bretagne, from the eponymous temporary exhibition presented at the museum from October 20, 2016 to August 27, 2017. The exhibition invited the visitor to explore the region. History of the railway in Brittany, since the arrival of the train station in Nantes in 1851 to that of the TGV station in Rennes in 1989. 500 works and objects (model trains and railway viaducts, structures , paintings, photographs, drawings of artist or techniques, posters of various companies, tools, everyday objects and travel, etc.) allowed to trace this history of railways in Brittany.
