Couleurs de Bretagne - Le Faouët à croquer

  • All with your pencils, brushes, feathers, collages ... The Colors of Brittany competition will stop at Faouët on Saturday 22 August. The principle ? represent the heritage of Faouët.

  • Open and free, the competition is open to toddlers and adults alike, to amateurs as well as to confirmed! Likewise, all media, techniques and means of expression are accepted. Participants should only bring with them their equipment and support that they have stamped when registering at the Faouët village hall. There are of course the essential subjects like the Place plantée and its markets, the Sainte-Barbe and Saint-Fiacre chapels, but other places are just waiting to be revealed by the...

There are of course the essential subjects like the Place plantée and its markets, the Sainte-Barbe and Saint-Fiacre chapels, but other places are just waiting to be revealed by the imagination of a painter or of draftsman. This day is also a great opportunity to discover the treasures, hidden or not, of the town. Course of the day: registrations and validation of materials in the village hall from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (wear your mask); creation of works on the motif up to 4 pm maximum; return of the works to the village hall between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. the jury meets to deliberate at 4.30 p.m. and proclaims the winners at 6 p.m. The categories: Gauguin 1 for children under 3; Gauguin 2 between 4 and 6 years old; Devéria between 7 and 9 years old; Bonnard between 10 and 12 years old; Jourdan from 13 to 15 years old; Helleu from 16 to 18 years old; Money for amateurs over 19; Sérusier for confirmed over 19 years old; Morisot for the regional award winners.
