“OFICINA” JEAN-LUC THOMAS Crucible of the influence of indigenous, African and European peoples, Brazil is a country where culture is abundant and syncretic. At its mere mention, we dream of carnival and samba, but the styles of music are much more numerous! This is what Jean-Luc Thomas' solo show shows, imagined in the universe of his past encounters. Between Pifanos, Frevo and Choro, the Breton flautist delivers us a musical travel diary augmented with anecdotes, atmospheres and images that lead us from Recif to São Paulo via Rio de Janeiro. The improvisations that he models live on several speakers take us along according to his experience, in the midst of photos and videos made on site. TIGANA SANTANA The meeting in 2016 in Brittany between the Breton flutist and the singer and guitarist Tigana Santana connects Jean-Luc Thomas to Salvador de Bahia, this cradle of candomblé. When the two musicians play together, the flautist finds his own orishas and they decide to tour together with their two solos: “Far from tropical exuberance, Tigana's music is all inwardly, intimate and solid. Playing with sounds as with spirits. Letting the invisible resonate in the air as in one and the same dance ”. Meet at 5 p.m. For all. Full price: € 10 and reduced price: € 8
