Les Patrimoines de l'été : la chapelle Sainte-Barbe

At the end of the 15th century, Lord Jean de Toulbodou was surprised by a violent storm while hunting on the lands of the Bouttevilles, lords of Faouët. Threatened by the wrath of heaven, the unlucky hunter then prays to Saint Barbara and promises her, if he survives, to erect a chapel for her in this place. The storm stops... Honoring his wish, and with the help of the Lord of Faouët, he begins the incredible construction site on the side of the rock. Visit on Wednesday, with Nathalie Le Pen from the Roi Morvan Community heritage service (except 07/24 and 08/14). Meet in front of the campanile at 4 p.m. Free.
