“Sustainable development cannot be limited to the personal territory of the immediate environment, it is international by nature. All these years, I have received wonderful images as gifts. Today, my photos should only be used for one thing: to help this awareness ”. Yann Arthus-Bertrand. Who better than the author himself to present the exhibition "Water a vital resource" which will be held at the Croisty media library until May 29th. The blue planet is the beautiful name attributed for centuries to the Earth because of the amount of water covering its surface, more than 70% of the 509 million km2 of the earth's surface. But, until when can we call it that? Climate change, overexploitation, pollution, scarcity, natural disasters ... so many scourges and signs indicating that this essential resource is in danger. Through 20 panels each presenting a photo taken from around the world and an accompanying message, Yann Arthus-Bertrand tries to raise awareness while allowing us to admire the beauty of the planet.
